Happy Friday! I can’t believe January is almost over!!
I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, so I decided January would be the best time to start my Friday Favorites posts again.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I tried this foundation back in August or September and I instantly fell in love! I cannot believe it has taken me this long to try it. I don’t really buy too much high end face makeup, because I just hate spending the money. However, this foundation honestly isn’t that expensive and it is totally worth every penny! I guess I have some sensory issues when it comes to foundation because I hate the feeling of having anything on my skin (I’m also very picky about moisturizers), but this foundation feels like skin. It covers well, but is so lightweight! I purchased this when Sephora was having their Beauty Insider sale, so I got 15% off. Totally worth it!! I have mine in the color 1N1 Ivory Nude.
Benefit Cosmetics 3D BROWtones Instant Color Highlights (formally called gimmeBrow)
I personally am not a huge brow product fan. I guess I should be thankful that I have pretty full natural brows. I usually only use product when I’m doing a full glam makeup look, but lately I’ve been enjoying using it a little more often. I like using gimmeBrow (I’m still going to call it that) because it’s subtle, but does the job. You can find this at Ulta or Sephora. I have the color Light/Medium.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater
On the back of the bottle it says…”once you’ve tried our rejuvenating facial spray, you won’t want to be without it.” That statement is absolutely true! It’s so refreshing and smells good! I use it as a primer, a finishing spray and even when I don’t wear makeup to refresh my skin. There are a few other scents but I haven’t tried them. I got mine at Ulta for $7.00.
Luna by Luna Cosmetics Baked Highlighter
I got this highlighter with some of my points from Ipsy. I’ve never heard of this brand before but when I saw it, I just had to buy it! It’s so pretty!!! I have the shade Calypso, it’s described as champagne with golden pink undertones. However, it looks almost purple to me! I could definitely use it as an eyeshadow as well as a highlighter. You can buy it on Luna’s website, they have three color options.
Out the Door Topcoat by INM
For the last couple years, I have been using Seche Vite top coat. It is a great product, but so expensive. I was running out, so I went to Target to get a new bottle (mostly because I had a Target gift card). I went to reach for the Seche Vite and saw Out The Door. It was half the price of Seche Vite. I paid $5 for it! It works just as great, or even better! I love using top coats like these because then you don’t have to sit around and wait for your nails to dry. I wouldn’t say it makes your nail polish last longer, but that doesn’t bother me because I’d rather have them dry quickly! You can order this top coat online, and its cheaper than at Target!
Have you tried these products? What are you favorites from this month?
p.s. do you like my new signature?! 🙂
